At its most basic, Yeroo is a time-focused mobility service: our platform delivers an essential bike-sharing solution that makes sustainable transport immediately accessible to everyone.
Our name “Yeroo” literally means “time”—ጊዜ in Amharic—symbolizing how each trip we enable gives riders back precious moments and reduces time lost in congestion.
By placing time at the center of our mission, Yeroo ensures that clean, reliable transportation is not tomorrow’s vision but today’s reality for Addis Ababa and beyond.

Our Mission
To provide affordable, eco-friendly transportation options in Addis Ababa and other regions following Koridor development by deploying a locally manufactured, IoT-enabled bike-sharing network—initially 300 smart and manual bicycles across ten docking hubs—integrated with our Yero Cash digital payment platform. By doing so, we’ll reduce traffic congestion and CO₂ emissions, promote healthier, active lifestyles, and foster sustainable economic growth through the creation of vast full-time jobs and hands-on IoT training for youth across the country.
