What is a Yeroo Provider?

A Yeroo Provider is an individual or business entity who possesses the financial capacity to purchase bicycles, electric bikes, scooters, or electric scooters and partners with Yeroo Bikes to deploy these vehicles within our comprehensive micro-mobility network.

Providers contribute their vehicles to our fleet, enabling Yeroo to deliver exceptional transportation services, facilitate delivery operations, and organize community events throughout Ethiopia, while earning substantial returns on their investment.

  • Yeroo Commission (15%): Platform management, technology development, customer support, marketing, and business operations
Payment Schedule

Revenue sharing payments are processed weekly on Fridays, covering the previous week's earnings (Monday to Sunday).

4. Provider Responsibilities and Obligations

Vehicle Standards and Requirements

  • Quality Assurance: Provide vehicles in excellent working condition that meet our safety standards
  • Documentation: Maintain valid purchase receipts, warranties, and ownership documentation
  • Compliance: Ensure all vehicles comply with Ethiopian transportation regulations
  • Initial Inspection: Allow Yeroo technical team to inspect and approve vehicles before deployment

Ongoing Partnership Obligations

  • Exclusive Partnership: Vehicles deployed with Yeroo cannot be used with competing platforms simultaneously
  • Minimum Commitment: Initial 6-month partnership commitment for each vehicle
  • Communication: Respond to Yeroo communications within 48 hours during business days
  • Compliance: Adhere to all platform policies and Ethiopian business regulations
  • Updates: Notify Yeroo of any changes to contact information or business status

Prohibited Activities

  • Operating vehicles independently while under Yeroo partnership
  • Interfering with Yeroo's technological systems or GPS tracking
  • Providing vehicles that are stolen, damaged, or subject to liens
  • Engaging in activities that could damage Yeroo's reputation or brand

  • Professional Maintenance: Regular servicing, repairs, and safety inspections by certified technicians
  • Technology Integration: Installation and maintenance of GPS tracking, smart locks, and IoT systems
  • Battery Management: Charging and battery replacement services for electric vehicles
  • Theft Protection: 24/7 monitoring and immediate response to theft or vandalism
  • Cleaning Services: Regular cleaning and sanitization of all vehicles

  • Customer Service: 24/7 user support for rental inquiries and issues
  • Marketing: Promotion of services through digital channels, events, and partnerships

8. Termination and Vehicle Return

Termination Rights

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days written notice. Termination may be immediate for:

  • Material breach of agreement terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Repeated violations of safety standards
  • Insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings

Vehicle Return Process

  • 30-day notice period for planned termination
  • Final earnings settlement within 14 days
  • Professional vehicle inspection and cleaning
  • Return of vehicles in original or better condition
  • Removal of all Yeroo technology and branding

9. Legal Framework and Dispute Resolution

This Provider Agreement is governed by Ethiopian law and regulations. Any disputes will be resolved through:

  1. Direct Negotiation: Good faith discussions between parties
  2. Mediation: Third-party mediation in Addis Ababa
  3. Arbitration: Binding arbitration under Ethiopian commercial law
